There are a number of accommodation options available at De Voetpadkloof, different not only in size, facilities and appearance, but also in price range. Accommodation facilities consist of modern En-suite Safari tents (5 people), chalets (6 people) and luxury log cabins (4 people) with covered parking and 46 caravan/camping sites. There are braai facilities at all accommodation units and at the caravan and camping sites. In all cases towels, bedding and basic cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery are supplied and chalets and log cabins are serviced daily.
Accommodation classification
17 En-suite tents: These tents consist of one single room, a bathroom with shower and toilet and partially equipped kitchenette, a cupboard, table and chairs, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, electric fan and heater. Tent No. 1-12 Sleeps 5 (1tribunk bed and 2 singles beds);No's 13-17 sleeps 6 ( 1 double bed and 2 single bunkbeds). Each tent has a specious outside braai area with braai facilities
8 Log Cabins: The new “Houtgerus” development consists of luxury wooden cabins – built in such a way as to fit comfortably into its bushveld surroundings and to ensure total privacy. Situated on the slopes of a hill, it offers a panoramic view of the dam and the bush-covered hills that surround it. Here you can discover tranquility while enjoying luxury comforts, such as remote control airconditioning and television with 10 selected DStv channels and the camp’s own exclusive hotwater swimming pool. Each cabin has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, of which one is en-suite. Fully equipped kitchen (fridge/freezer, microwave oven, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and a stove) and communal lounge/living room with an open veranda with table and chairs and braai facilities.
Caravan/camping sites: A maximum of one caravan/tent, two vehicles and six persons are permitted per site. Three conveniently situated hot and cold water ablution blocks with washing-up facilities serve these sites. All the sites have power points, braai facilities and water points are well-positioned.
Day visitors :Day visitors are welcome, but should obtain permission from the Reservation office.
